Report from the Florida Film Fest

Our screening at the Florida Film Festival was a great success! We were honored to have in attendance Col. Charles Butte who made the trip to Orlando from Riviera Beach with his son, Charles Jr. The premiere of City of Baseball was part of the festival’s annual “Italian Cinema Night” and was nearly sold out with over hundred folks in attendance. Matt Galante, former Houston Astros coach and manager of the Italian national team at the 2006 Baseball World Baseball Classic, was one of several in the audience with connections to the league in Italy.

The staff and volunteers of the Florida Film Festival were especially helpful and generous during our stay. It was a great experience and we hope to have another project to show at the Enzian someday. Special thanks to Matthew Curtis for supporting our project. Thanks also to my wife who spent several afternoons on Winter Park sidewalks handing out postcards…

Front Page News at the Palm Beach Post!

Frank Cerabino of the Palm Beach Post has written a wonderful article about Col. Bud Butte and City of Baseball for Sunday’s paper. We are thoroughly grateful for the feature and very excited that it made the front page!
